Despite the cold it was incredibly busy so it was a good call arriving early. I wasn't counting but at least 10 pike anglers walked past me while I was fishing...

1st hard frost of the year... soooo bloody cold! But from what I've been told, that signals the start of the true pike season so I headed over the Bristol Avon to try and put one on the bank.

Spring seems to have sprung! It's been pretty cold, wet and miserable lately but today the sun was shining, the birds were tweeting and I was off to fish a new venue on the Crosshands Angling Club ticket, the excellent looking Hunters Lake.
